North London Aspire Partnership
Members of the North London Aspire PartnershipThis is a European Social Fund 'EQUAL' project working with and for asylum seekers in North London.  Its aims are to promote positive approaches to supporting asylum seekers by disseminating best-practice and innovations developed by the Partnership.  It is led by the Ugandan Community Relief Association (UCRA).  Other partners include the Learning & Skills Council (London North), Haringey Council (Regeneration), Haringey Adult Learning Services and Positive Carelink.

For Refugee Week 2007, London Link Radio worked with staff and participants to produce a radio programme, which was broadcast on Refugee Week Radio.  During a series of short training sessions, participants learnt basic interviewing and recording techniques using portable digital recorders. They then recorded interviews and personal contributions, which were edited on computer.
